F. スペインでのレースがシーズンに2戦あるため、レース名が従前のスペインGPではなく、バルセロナ・カタロニアGPと仰々しさを増した。気温30.5℃、路面温度51.8℃、なかなかにホットなレース前。殆どのチームがミディアムタイヤスタートの中、ハミルトン、フェルスタッペン、ヒュルケンベルグ、コラピント、サインツ、オコンがソフトタイヤスタートを選択。現地時間午後3時、フォーメーションラップ開始。週末の観客数が301,273完売といつになく厳密な数字。
１．ターン１まで598ｍ、PPラッセル美しいライン取りで好スタート。ソフトタイヤのハミルトン、フェルスタッペンがジャンプアップを狙うが、順位に変動は無さそう。各車順調なローンチとなった。7番手スタートのピアストリがハジャーをかわして6位となっている。予選Q3でクラッシュし、10番手スタートのルクレールは蹴り出しが素晴らしく、7位まで順位を上げた。ボルトレートが17位まで順位を落としている。
２．ハジャーが順位を8つ下げて、現在14番手。 トップのラッセルがファステスト。ハジャーがサインツの前に出て13位。
６．最後尾ストロールがピットに入ったが、ギアボックストラブルの疑義でリタイア。
７．ファステストを連発していたトップのラッセルのペースがラップ1秒落ちた。高温でデグラデーションが明確に反映されている模様。ハジャーがガスリー、コラピントを立て続けにかわして11位。アウトから粘り強くオーバーテイクする様はカタロニア然としている。
８．ルクレールも先ほどのハジャーのようなアウトからのラインでピアストリをかわして6位。フェラーリは比較的デグの影響が少ないのか。
１０．ラッセル、ハミルトン、アントネッリ、ノリス、フェルスタッペン、ルクレール、ピアストリ、ローソン、ヒュルケンベルグ、リンドブラッドのトップ10。
１１．ハジャーがリンドブラッドをかわして10位。
１２．ソフトタイヤスタートだったハミルトンがここでピット。2.5秒静止でハードタイヤにチェンジし、7位復帰。ローソンもピットでハード。静止6.3秒と時間が掛かって19位復帰となった。
１３．トップ快走中のラッセルがピット。2.4秒静止で6位復帰。フェルスタッペンもピット、2.5秒静止で9位復帰。
１４．ノリスがピット。2.2秒静止で6位復帰。
１５．ピアストリもピット。静止2.2秒で9位復帰。ピットを遅らせて暫定トップを走行しているルクレールに、ステイアウトしたい旨の無線。ペースは落ちている。
１６．ハジャーがピットして、11位復帰。
１７．ルクレールがピットイン。静止2.6秒で6位復帰。ピアストリの前に出た。ボッタスがガレージにマシンを収めてリタイア。
１９．ハミルトンがファステスト。数ラップ前の情報か。
２０．ラッセル、ハミルトン、アントネッリ、ノリス、フェルスタッペン、ルクレール、ピアストリ、リンドブラッド、ハジャー、ローソンのトップ10。リンドブラッドは未だピットに入っていない。
２２．川井氏解説；アントネッリは真面目なドライバーで、チームにプッシュしていいか？十分か？などピットの指示を仰いでから実行するタイプですね。 浜島氏解説；ミハエル・シューマッハも同じタイプでした。
２３．リンドブラッドがピット。2.7秒静止で16位復帰。これで全マシンが1度目のピットを終えた。
３０．ラッセル、アントネッリ、ノリス、フェルスタッペン、ルクレール、ハミルトン、ピアストリ、ハジャー、ローソン、ヒュルケンベルグのトップ10。 フェルスタッペンがピットイン。4.5秒静止と時間が掛かり、ハードタイヤにチェンジして7位復帰。ピット作業のロスは特にレースに影響は無さそうか。
３１．ヒュルケンベルグがピットインするも、タイヤ交換後マシンが動かない。
３３．熾烈なメルセデス同士のトップ争い。ターン1からアントネッリがラッセルに襲い掛かっている。
３５．メルセデスの無線ではバトルはペースを落とすので、3位ノリスをけん制して控えるように指示。それに従ってメルセデス2台のペースは元通りに上がった。
３６．ノリスが早々に動いてピットイン。2.6秒静止で6位復帰。
３７．ノリスのアンダーカットをカバーするためにトップのラッセルがピット。2.8秒静止で4位、ノリスの3秒前方に戻った。
３８．アントネッリもピット。2.8秒静止で4位、ノリスの0.4秒前に復帰。
３９．アルボンがリタイア。
４０．ルクレールがピット。2.5秒静止で6位復帰。 ターン9でアロンソがストップしているとの情報。ヴァーチャルセーフティカー導入。
４１．フェルスタッペンがVSC中真っ先にピット。ベアマンが次にピット。
４２．暫定トップ走行中のハミルトンがVSC中にピット。ここでラッセルの前、トップで復帰。
４３．5位走行中のフェルスタッペンにパープル。
４５．ハミルトン、ラッセル、アントネッリ、ノリス、フェルスタッペン、ルクレール、ピアストリ、ハジャー、ガスリー、コラピントのトップ10。 ハミルトンがファステスト。
４６．浜島氏解説；フェラーリはアップデートに成功したように見えます。デグラデーションが一番少ないですね。 アロンソはバッテリーの問題でリタイアと公式SNSからの情報。
４９．川井氏解説；イエローフラッグ無視もお咎めなしということで、ハミルトンはアロンソに感謝しに行かなければです。
５５．ハミルトン、ラッセル、アントネッリ、ノリス、フェルスタッペン、ルクレール、ピアストリ、ハジャー、ガスリー、コラピント、ローソンのトップ10。 トップのハミルトンと2位ラッセルは10秒の差がついている、3位アントネッリと2位ラッセルの差が約1秒。4位ノリスもアントネッリに1秒差まで迫っている。
６０．ハジャーがピットイン。3回目。2.3秒静止でフリーピット、8位復帰。 2位ラッセルと3位アントネッリの差は0.5秒。4位ノリスは3秒後方まで差がやや開いた。
６１．ターン1でアントネッリがラッセルのインを突いてオーバーテイク。2位に浮上。
６２．アントネッリの右フロントウイングが破損している。ラッセルをオーバーテイクした際に接触があったか？ アントネッリがスローダウン。グラベルにマシンを停めてリタイア。VSC導入。
６３．ルクレールもスローダウン。パワーステアリングが無いとのこと。 ベアマンのVSC中のピットインが早い。 ルクレールはピットに戻ってリタイア。 ハミルトンにはステイアウトの指示。
６４．アルピーヌが堅実な走りで7位ガスリー、8位コラピント。 フラッグウェーバーはテニスプレーヤーのノバク・ジョコビッチ氏。
６５．VSCエンディング。
６６．直近2レースで連続の2位表彰台。着実に調子を上げていたハミルトンがフェラーリで初優勝。ミハエル・シューマッハの記録を抜いてカタロニアサーキット7勝となった。2024年ベルギー以来、通算106勝の勝利。フェラーリとしても2024年メキシコで優勝したサインツ以来の勝利である。表彰台はラッセル、ノリスとイギリス人ドライバーが独占した。

Since Spain now hosts two races in the season, the race name has become rather grandiose: no longer simply the Spanish GP, but the Barcelona-Catalunya GP. Air temperature is 30.5°C and track temperature 51.8°C — a properly hot pre-race situation. While most teams start on mediums, Hamilton, Verstappen, Hülkenberg, Colapinto, Sainz, and Ocon choose soft tyres. At 15:00 local time, the formation lap begins. Weekend attendance is announced as a sold-out 301,273 — unusually precise.

The run to Turn 1 is 598 meters. Pole-sitter Russell takes a beautiful line and gets a strong start. Hamilton and Verstappen, both on softs, look to jump up the order, but there seems to be no major change at the front. All cars get away cleanly. Piastri, starting 7th, passes Hadjar for 6th. Leclerc, who crashed in Q3 and started 10th, gets a superb launch and climbs to 7th. Bortoleto drops to 17th.

Hadjar has dropped eight positions and is now 14th. Race leader Russell sets the fastest lap. Hadjar gets back ahead of Sainz for 13th.

Stroll, running last, pits, but retires with a suspected gearbox issue.

Russell, who had been repeatedly setting fastest laps at the front, suddenly loses around one second per lap. The high temperature appears to be clearly bringing tyre degradation into play. Hadjar overtakes Gasly and Colapinto in quick succession to move up to 11th. His persistent outside-line overtakes look very Catalunya-like.

Leclerc also passes Piastri for 6th using a similar outside line to Hadjar’s earlier moves. Ferrari may be suffering less from degradation.

Hamilton, who started on softs, pits here. He switches to hards after a 2.5-second stop and rejoins in 7th. Lawson also pits for hards, but the stop takes 6.3 seconds, dropping him to 19th.

Hadjar pits for the third time. It is effectively a free stop, and after a 2.3-second stop he rejoins in 8th. The gap between Russell in 2nd and Antonelli in 3rd is 0.5 seconds. Norris, in 4th, has drifted back to about three seconds behind.

After two consecutive 2nd-place podiums in recent races, Hamilton — who had been steadily building form — takes his first victory for Ferrari. He also surpasses Michael Schumacher’s record with a seventh win at the Catalunya circuit. It is his first win since the 2024 Belgian GP and the 106th victory of his career. For Ferrari, it is their first win since Sainz won in Mexico in 2024. The podium is swept by British drivers: Hamilton, Russell, and Norris.
