F. 現地時間午後3時、フォーメーションラップ開始。週末観客数は400,000人との発表。カレンダーの中で1周が最も長いコースで1周7kmを超える。
１．短い1コーナーまでは順当なスタート。オー・ルージュを駆け上がっていくターボサウンドが瀑布を逆さまに観ているような迫力。2～３コーナーで2番手スタートのフェルスタッペンがトップのアントネッリを捕らえるものの、ケメルストレートで再びアントネッリがトップに。蹴り出しの良いフェラーリ勢は5コーナー辺りでルクレールが2番手を窺う。ラッセルがターン6でスピンをしてリタイヤ。ハミルトンと接触があった模様。セーフティカー導入。オコンも車体下から火花を散らしているため、何かダメージがあるか。
２．多くのマシンがSC中にピットに入る。リプレイではハミルトンの左フロントと右後方から並びかけたラッセルが接触していた。オコンはベアマンと接触があり、コースオフしていた。
５．SCエンディング。アントネッリ、ルクレール、フェルスタッペン、ピアストリ、ハミルトン、ローソン、リンドブラッド、コラピント、ボルトレート、ノリスのトップ10。 リスタートでも蹴り出しの良いハミルトンがピアストリをかわして4位になるものの、再びピアストリが順位を奪い返して4位に。
６．フェルスタッペンがファステスト。ケメルストレートでルクレールを捕らえて2位奪取。フェラーリのローンチとレースペースのバランスは一体。
７．ベアマンの無線で、14位走行中サインツのウイングのダメージが危険であるとの情報。
８．3位ルクレールと4位ピアストリがサイドバイサイドのバトル。ケメルストレートエンドでピアストリと接触。ルクレールは確かに１シャーシ分ギリギリを残していたのみであったか。
９．ハミルトンがピアストリをかわして４位。ピアストリはフロントタイヤ後ろのフロアボードを失っており、若干マシンバランスを崩しているか。ノリスがローソンをかわして７位まで順位をあげてきている。ハミルトンはラッセルとの接触で５秒ペナルティ。
１０．川井氏解説；リンドブラッドがトップ６を走行するのは初めてですが、トップ５に付いて行けないペースです。
１３．フェラーリはチームバトルをしている。ハミルトンには5秒ペナルティもあるので、チームとしてはルクレールにちょっかいを出してほしくないか。上位５台は密集してバトルをしているが、１位アントネッリと２位フェルスタッペンが初めて２秒の差となった。
１４．ペレスからサスペンションが壊れているとの無線。 片山氏解説；キャデラックはまだまだマシンの信頼性に問題があるようです。モノトーンのカラーリングは好きなんですけどね。
１５．サインツがピットでノーズ交換。
１７．リンドブラッドがピット。ローソンに前に戻れて１２位復帰。ただすぐにローソンがかわして１２位を奪還。さらにリンドブラッドが順位を取り戻して12位に。
１８．フェルスタッペンがピット。2.5秒静止でハードにチェンジし、6位復帰。 ペレスがリアウイングとダンパーの問題でリタイア。 ここでVSC導入。すぐにエンディングのため、トップ勢もピットの利益は得られなかった。恐らくターン17のデブリを回収したのか。
１９．アントネッリがピット。VSCの利益は得られなかったが、ピットレーンのウォールに擦りそうになりつつピットインし、5位復帰。
２０．ノリスがピアストリの前に出て3位。スワップの指示がピットからあったか。フェルスタッペンがファステスト更新。 ルクレール、ハミルトン、ピアストリ、ノリス、アントネッリ、フェルスタッペン、ハジャー、ボルトレート、ヒュルケンベルグ、ベアマンのトップ10。
２１．またもVSCがあり、タイミング良くルクレールがピットイン。ハミルトンも続けてダブルストップ。ルクレールはVSC中にピットインできたため、トップに立つことに成功。ここでVSCエンディング。 川井氏解説；既にデブリを回収したマーシャルが戻っていたのにも関わらず、VSCエンディングが遅れた理由は何だったのでしょう。ハミルトンがピットアウトの際に右フロントのピットクルーを引っかけてしまった。無線ではHe’ｓ OKとのこと。
２３．ルクレールがノリスをかわしてトップに。現在2位のノリスはまだピットを実施していない。アントネッリがファステスト更新。
２４．ルクレールがファステスト更新。 片山氏解説；ペースの良い車が多くていいレースですね。
２６．アントネッリがノリスをかわして2位。
２７．ストロールがクラッチに問題があり、ピットに戻ってリタイア。
３０．ルクレール、アントネッリ、フェルスタッペン、ノリス、ピアストリ、ハミルトン、ハジャー、ボルトレート、リンドブラッド、ローソンのトップ10。 フェルスタッペンがノリスをかわして3位となっていた。
３１．ノリスがピットイン。右リアがうまく外れず7.8秒の静止でミディアムに変更して8位復帰。
３２．トップ争いのルクレールとアントネッリの差が1秒に近づいてきた。 ノリスがボルトレートをかわして7位。
３４．アントネッリがルクレールをかわしてトップに。レースペースがメルセデスは素晴らしく、ルクレールは抵抗する様もなかったように見える。
３５．アントネッリがファステスト。
３６．かわされたルクレールが意外とアントネッリの1秒圏内で付いて行っている。
４０．ハミルトンが4位ピアストリに迫っている。ターン5の飛び込みでピアストリをかわして4位に浮上。
４１．7位走行中ノリスがファステスト更新。
４３．ノリスがさらにファステスト更新。6位ハジャーを追い詰めるが、ラスト2周間に合うか。 川井氏解説；サッカーワールドカップを見たいドライバーにとってはファイナルラップが早めの時間に来て良いニュースでしょう。早く帰れますからね。
４４．ポディウムの中央にアントネッリがモナコGP以来戻ってきた。イタリア人ドライバーとして6勝はパトレーゼと並んだ。好ペースで追い上げたノリスはハジャーに届かなかった。ハジャーは確実な走行を完遂した。

At 3:00 p.m. local time, the formation lap gets underway. Weekend attendance is announced at 400,000. Spa-Francorchamps remains the longest circuit on the calendar, stretching over 7 km per lap.
1.
The field gets away cleanly through the short run to Turn 1. The turbo engines echoing up Eau Rouge sound like a waterfall flowing in reverse—an awe-inspiring spectacle. Through Turns 2 and 3, second-place starter Verstappen closes on race leader Antonelli, but Antonelli retakes the lead along the Kemmel Straight. Ferrari’s trademark strong launch is evident again, with Leclerc eyeing second around Turn 5. Russell spins at Turn 6 and retires after apparent contact with Hamilton, bringing out the Safety Car. Ocon is also throwing sparks from beneath his car, suggesting possible damage.

Many drivers pit under the Safety Car. Replays show Russell drawing alongside Hamilton from the latter’s left-front to right-rear before making contact. Ocon had also run off after contact with Bearman.
5.
Safety Car ending. Top 10: Antonelli, Leclerc, Verstappen, Piastri, Hamilton, Lawson, Lindblad, Colapinto, Bortoleto, Norris. Hamilton’s strong restart allows him to pass Piastri for fourth, but Piastri quickly retakes the position.

Verstappen sets the fastest lap and overtakes Leclerc for second along the Kemmel Straight. Ferrari’s balance between explosive starts and race pace continues to be fascinating.
7.
Bearman reports over the radio that Sainz, running 14th, has dangerous wing damage.
8.
Leclerc and Piastri go side-by-side for third. They make contact at the end of the Kemmel Straight. Leclerc appears to have left only the bare minimum of one car’s width.
9.
Hamilton passes Piastri for fourth. Piastri appears to have lost part of the floor behind his front tyres, possibly upsetting the car’s balance. Norris overtakes Lawson to climb to seventh. Hamilton receives a five-second penalty for the earlier collision with Russell.

Kawai: “This is Lindblad’s first time running inside the top six, but he doesn’t quite have the pace to stay with the top five.”

Ferrari’s two drivers are now battling each other. With Hamilton carrying a five-second penalty, the team would probably rather he didn’t challenge Leclerc too aggressively. The top five remain tightly packed in battle, while the gap between leader Antonelli and second-place Verstappen stretches to two seconds for the first time.
14.
Pérez reports suspension damage over the radio.
Katayama: “Cadillac still seems to have reliability issues. I do like the monochrome livery, though.”
15.
Sainz pits for a nose change.
17.
Lindblad pits and rejoins ahead of Lawson in 12th, only for Lawson to immediately reclaim the position. Lindblad then fights back to retake 12th.
18.
Verstappen pits, serving a clean 2.5-second stop for hard tyres before rejoining sixth. Pérez retires with rear-wing and damper issues. A VSC is deployed but ends almost immediately, giving the leaders no real strategic advantage—likely to clear debris at Turn 17.
19.
Antonelli pits despite receiving no VSC benefit, narrowly avoiding brushing the pit-wall entry before rejoining fifth.
20.
Norris moves ahead of Piastri into third, possibly following team orders to swap positions. Verstappen sets another fastest lap.
Top 10: Leclerc, Hamilton, Piastri, Norris, Antonelli, Verstappen, Hadjar, Bortoleto, Hülkenberg, Bearman.
21.
Another VSC arrives at the perfect moment for Leclerc, who pits immediately. Hamilton follows for a double-stack. Thanks to stopping under the VSC, Leclerc emerges in the lead. The VSC ends shortly afterward.
Kawai: “The marshals had already cleared the debris and returned, so why did the VSC stay out so long?”
During Hamilton’s pit exit, he clips his right-front tyre changer. The team quickly reports over the radio: “He’s OK.”

Leclerc overtakes Norris to take the lead. Norris, now second, has yet to make his stop. Antonelli sets the fastest lap.
24.
Leclerc responds with a new fastest lap.
Katayama: “There are so many quick cars today. This is turning into a great race.”

Antonelli overtakes Norris for second.
27.
Stroll reports a clutch problem and returns to the pits to retire.
30.
Top 10: Leclerc, Antonelli, Verstappen, Norris, Piastri, Hamilton, Hadjar, Bortoleto, Lindblad, Lawson. Verstappen has quietly moved ahead of Norris into third.
31.
Norris pits. A slow right-rear tyre change results in a 7.8-second stop before he rejoins eighth on medium tyres.
32.
The gap between leader Leclerc and second-place Antonelli shrinks to almost one second. Norris passes Bortoleto for seventh.
34.
Antonelli overtakes Leclerc to reclaim the lead. Mercedes’ race pace is outstanding, and Leclerc appears powerless to resist.
35.
Antonelli sets the fastest lap.
36.
Despite losing the lead, Leclerc remains surprisingly within one second of Antonelli.
40.
Hamilton closes rapidly on fourth-place Piastri and completes the pass with a bold move into Turn 5.
41.
Norris, now seventh, sets the fastest lap.
43.
Norris lowers the benchmark again as he closes on sixth-place Hadjar. Can he catch him with only two laps remaining?
Kawai: “For the drivers eager to watch the Football World Cup, it’s good news that the final lap is coming a bit earlier—they’ll get home in time.”
44.
Antonelli returns to the top step of the podium for the first time since Monaco. His sixth Formula 1 victory draws him level with Riccardo Patrese as the most successful Italian driver in the championship’s modern era. Norris charges through the closing laps but cannot quite catch Hadjar, who delivers a composed and flawless drive to secure his result.
