１．2番グリッドスタートのフェルスタッペンが素晴らしいスタートで１コーナーを制するかと思われたが、ポールスタートのサインツと接触し、サインツがコースオフ。ゲインした順位を戻す。中位勢ではツノダがクラッシュしてリタイア。アルボンとホイールトゥホイールのバトルの末、タイヤ同士が接触しツノダの右リアが外れた。セーフティカー導入。ペレスはフォルススタート(グリッド位置不正)のペナルティを取られる。本人もチームも気づいて無かった様子・・。
５．ルクレール無線：The drink is when I7m doing zigzag, like I need to drink even if I don’t need to.
７．セーフティカー解除。順調なローリングスタート。 フェルスタッペン、サインツ、ノリス、ルクレール、ハミルトン、ラッセル、マグヌッセン、ヒュルケンベルグ、ガスリー、ローソンのトップ10。
８．記念すべき400戦目のアロンソは現在12位。チームメイトストロールは1つ前の11位。
９．サインツがファステストを記録したと思われた直後、フェルスタッペンをオーバーテイク。バックストレートエンドでブレーキング勝負、インセクションでも強気なブロックのサインツ。フェルスタッペンは無線によると回帰バッテリーが電池切れのよう。
１０．さらにノリスがフェルスタッペンを狙う。前戦同様にターン5のエイペックスでノリスが前だったのにフェルスタッペンがそれをブロック。次のターン7で2台ともコースオフしたその間にルクレールが2位に。
１３．川井氏解説；先ほどのフェルスタッペン vs ノリスは前戦ほどクリアにどちらがエイペックスで前だったかはわかりません。 フェルスタッペンにノリスを押し出した件で10秒ペナルティ。
１５．メルセデスのチームメイトバトル。ラッセルがホームストレートエンドでハミルトンをかわして5位。インに一度振って、ハミルトンがブロックに移動したところをアウトから。クイックなマシン操作でのオーバーテイク。
１６．アロンソがピットに戻りリタイア。
１８．11位ペレス vs 10位ローソン。近づくもののローソンもラインでブロック。コースオフをして順位変わらず。タイムの落ちたペレスにストロールが仕掛けるものの、ペレスのブロックでコースオフ。ターン4エイペックスでストロールが前だったようにも見えたが。
２０．ここでフェルスタッペンに2つ目の10秒ペナルティ。先ほどのノリスとのバトル時、ターン8でコース外アドバンテージの件。
２１．サイドポッドにダメージを負ったペレスがピットへ。5秒ペナルティもここで消化。
２２．サインツ、ルクレール、フェルスタッペン、ノリス、ラッセル、ハミルトン、マグヌッセン、ヒュルケンベルグ、ガスリー、ローソンのトップ10。
２５．川井氏解説；路面温度38.6度。デグラデーションは全車そこまで大きくないですね。
２７．ここでフェルスタッペンがピット。オーバーテイクリスクが大きいため抜きあぐねていた4位ノリスにとっては早くピットインしてほしかった。20秒ペナルティを消化して15位で復帰。
２８．オコンがジョウをかわして13位。 クリアエアを得た3位ノリス、2位ルクレールより速いラップタイム。
２９．ハミルトンがピット。新品ハードタイヤで10位復帰。
３０．フェルスタッペンがオコンをかわして11位。
３１．ノリスがピット。4位で復帰。 マグヌッセンもピット。 フェルスタッペンがファステスト。チャンピオンシップ争いで1ポイントでも稼いでおこうとする見事な姿勢。
３２．ルクレールがピット。 ラッセルもピット。
３３．サインツがピット。 チーム無線では前周にBOX指示があったが、サインツはもう1周を望んだため、33周目でピット。 ラッセルがピアストリをかわして5位。 すぐにローソンもかわして4位。
３４．7位ハミルトンがピアストリに仕掛ける間に、ピアストリはローソンをかわして5位に。ピアストリはオフェンスでディフェンスをカバーするような唸る走り。ハミルトンもローソンをかわして5位。さらにピアストリもかわして4位へ。
３６．サインツ、ルクレール、ノリス、ラッセル、ハミルトン、ピアストリ、ローソン、フェルスタッペン、コラピント、マグヌッセンのトップ10。 コラピントは未ピットイン。
３８．フェルスタッペンがローソンをかわして7位。 ヒュルケンベルグがボッタスをかわして11位。 バックストレートトラップで357km/hは3番目に速いスピード。 川井氏解説；ちなみに最速はピアストリで362km/hです。
４０．ミディアムで39周走り切ったピアストリがピット。静止2.0秒。マクラーレンのピットは相変わらずめちゃ速。13位で復帰。
４２．ローソンがバックストレートでペレスをかわして16位。 ピアストリがオコンをかわして12位。
４３．ラッセル無線：I’v got very small rain drops on the visor. 確かにさっきもフェルスタッペンが暗くなってきたと言っていた。 フェルスタッペン無線：I’v got no grip. ガスリーがボッタスをかわして10位。 ピアストリもボッタスをかわして11位。
４４．ピアストリがガスリーをかわして10位。 ペレスがピット、ミディアムへ。
４６．3位ノリスがファステストでルクレールに迫るも、0.3秒しか差を詰められない。 川井氏解説；ノリスは第2セクター速いですが、第3セクターはルクレールが速いですし、フェラーリの方がタイヤに優しいマシンですからこの差を縮めるのは大変です。
４８．コラピントがここでピット。 4位ラッセルが無線で、5位ハミルトンとバトルしていいか確認。
片山氏解説；ここは2人とも大人ですから。
５３．さいんつ、ルクレール、ノリス、ラッセル、ハミルトン、フェルスタッペン、マグヌッセン、ヒュルケンベルグ、ピアストリ、ガスリーのトップ10。
５４．メルセデスはチームメイトバトルの様相。
５６．3位ノリスは前のルクレールとの差を詰めたいが、バックマーカーも邪魔をしてなかなか差が縮まらない。 ルクレールもバックマーカートラフィックにはいるが・・
５９．ノリスとルクレールの差が1.2秒まで縮まった。 ちなみにトップのサインツはルクレールの7秒前。
６０．ルクレールが0.1秒ずつノリスとの差を開かせ始めた。DRS圏内にノリスを入れない。
６１．メルセデスのチームメイトバトルが激しい。コーナーで並びかけるもラッセルがカバー。
６２．遂にノリスがルクレールのDRS圏内に。
６３．追い詰められたルクレールが最終コーナーでミス、コースオフ。ダストを拾ってしまったか。ノリスが2位浮上。 川井氏解説；ルクレールはウォールにヒットしなかったのは幸運でした。 ノリスにファステスト。
６５．ルクレール無線：Think about the fastest lap. 川井氏解説；ルクレールの狙いとしてはコンストラクターズポイントで1点でも取りたいということです。
６６．なお続くメルセデスのチームメイトバトル。 コース上、ラインも挙動も全く同じ動きでリンクして見える。 バックストレートでハミルトンがラッセルをかわして4位。 ローソンがコラピントをオーバーテイクしようとした際にリアとフロントウィングがヒット。ローソンがピットインしてフロントウイング交換。
６８．片山氏解説；ローソンもルクレールもファステストを狙いにいくと思います。 川井氏解説；ローソンが兄弟チームのレッドブル、特にフェルスタッペンをサポートするためにはここでノリスからファステストポイントをもぎ取ればいいんですね。
６９．ローソンがファステストを更新。 ルクレールにピット指示。ニュータイヤでファステストを狙いに行く。 川井氏解説；ローソンが自力でファステストを更新したのは、万が一ルクレールがノリスのタイムを上回れなかったとしても、マクラーレンに1ポイントを与えない意味で有意義です。ローソンはトップ10に入っていないのでファステストポイントの権利は無いんですけどね。
７０．ペレスにもピット指示でファステスト狙い。
７１．サインツが今シーズン2勝目、自身4回目のトップチェッカー。2位ノリス。3位にファステストを更新してルクレール。ウォールギリギリ、お見事。 ペレスはファステストを取れなかった。 ドライバーオブザデイもサインツが獲得。

1. Verstappen, starting from P2, had a stellar launch and looked set to take Turn 1, but made contact with polesitter Sainz, forcing the Spaniard off track. Verstappen gave the place back.
In the midfield, Tsunoda collided with Albon during a wheel-to-wheel battle. Their tires touched, causing Tsunoda’s right rear to come off—he was out of the race.
Safety Car was deployed.
Pérez received a penalty for a false start due to incorrect grid positioning—neither he nor the team seemed aware of it.
5. Leclerc radio: “The drink is when I’m doing zigzag, like I need to drink even if I don’t need to.”
7. Safety Car in. Rolling restart was clean.
Top 10: Verstappen, Sainz, Norris, Leclerc, Hamilton, Russell, Magnussen, Hülkenberg, Gasly, Lawson.
8. Alonso, in his milestone 400th race, was running P12. His teammate Stroll was just ahead in P11.
9. Just after Sainz set the fastest lap, he overtook Verstappen at the end of the back straight with a strong braking move. He defended aggressively in the next section as well.
Verstappen reported over radio that his hybrid battery had run out of charge.
10. Norris then challenged Verstappen.
As in the previous race, Norris had the apex at Turn 5, but Verstappen blocked.
Both ran wide at Turn 7, and Leclerc capitalized, moving up to P2.
13. Kawai: “Unlike the last race, it’s harder to say who was ahead at the apex during the Verstappen-Norris incident.”
Verstappen was handed a 10-second penalty for forcing Norris off.
15. Mercedes teammates battled as Russell overtook Hamilton into Turn 1.
Russell dummied to the inside, forcing Hamilton to block, then slipped past on the outside—an excellent move.
16. Alonso retired in the pits.
18. P11 Pérez chased P10 Lawson, but Lawson defended his line well.
Stroll then attacked Pérez but ran off track. It seemed Stroll had the apex at Turn 4 before the contact.
20. Verstappen received a second 10-second penalty for gaining an advantage by going off at Turn 8 during the previous Norris battle.
21. Pérez, with damage to his sidepod, pitted and served his 5-second penalty.
22. Top 10: Sainz, Leclerc, Verstappen, Norris, Russell, Hamilton, Magnussen, Hülkenberg, Gasly, Lawson.
25. Kawai: “Track temp is 38.6°C. Tyre degradation doesn’t seem too high across the field.”
27. Verstappen pitted to serve his 20-second total penalty.
For Norris in P4, this was welcome, as Verstappen had been hard to overtake.
Verstappen rejoined in P15.
28. Ocon overtook Zhou for P13. Now in clear air, P3 Norris was lapping faster than P2 Leclerc.
29. Hamilton pitted for new hards and rejoined P10.
30. Verstappen overtook Ocon for P11.
31. Norris pitted and rejoined P4.
Magnussen also pitted.
Verstappen set the fastest lap—fighting for every possible championship point.
32. Leclerc and Russell pitted.
33. Sainz pitted one lap later than the team had suggested.
On radio: “BOX” — Sainz: “One more lap.”
Russell overtook Piastri for P5 and soon cleared Lawson for P4.
34. As Hamilton attacked Piastri for P7, Piastri overtook Lawson for P6.
Piastri’s aggressive attacking doubled as defense.
Hamilton then passed Lawson and Piastri to take P4.
36. Top 10: Sainz, Leclerc, Norris, Russell, Hamilton, Piastri, Lawson, Verstappen, Colapinto, Magnussen.
Note: Colapinto had not yet pitted.
38. Verstappen overtook Lawson for P7.
Hülkenberg passed Bottas for P11.
Top speeds on the back straight trap: Verstappen hit 357 km/h (3rd highest), Piastri topped at 362 km/h.
40. Piastri finally pitted after running 39 laps on mediums.
Stationary for just 2.0 seconds—blisteringly fast from McLaren. Rejoined in P13.
42. Lawson passed Pérez down the back straight for P16.
Piastri passed Ocon for P12.
43. Russell radio: “I’ve got very small rain drops on the visor.”
Earlier, Verstappen had also said it was getting dark.
Verstappen radio: “I’ve got no grip.”
Gasly passed Bottas for P10.
Piastri followed and took P11.
44. Piastri passed Gasly for P10.
Pérez pitted for new mediums.
46. Norris, in P3, set the fastest lap and closed in on Leclerc, but only gained 0.3s.
Kawai: “Norris is fast in Sector 2, but Leclerc is quicker in Sector 3. Ferrari is also gentler on tyres—it’ll be hard to close that gap.”
48. Colapinto pitted.
Russell radioed asking if he could race Hamilton for position.
Katayama: “Both are mature drivers—I trust them.”
53. Top 10: Sainz, Leclerc, Norris, Russell, Hamilton, Verstappen, Magnussen, Hülkenberg, Piastri, Gasly.
54. Mercedes intra-team battle heating up.
56. Norris tried to close the gap to Leclerc, but backmarkers disrupted the chase.
Leclerc also entered traffic.
59. Gap between Norris and Leclerc shrank to 1.2s.
Sainz remained 7 seconds ahead of Leclerc.
60. Leclerc began pulling away by 0.1s per lap, keeping Norris out of DRS range.
61. The Mercedes duel intensified—Russell defended corner after corner.
62. Finally, Norris entered Leclerc’s DRS range.
63. Under pressure, Leclerc made a mistake at the final corner, ran wide and lost P2.
Kawai: “Leclerc was lucky not to hit the wall.”
Norris also took fastest lap.
65. Leclerc radio: “Think about the fastest lap.”
Kawai: “He’s probably aiming to score one more point for the constructors.”
66. Mercedes teammates continued their dogfight—running identical lines and movements.
Hamilton overtook Russell down the back straight for P4.
Lawson clipped Colapinto’s rear tire and damaged his front wing—pitted for repairs.
68. Katayama: “I bet Lawson and Leclerc are both going for fastest lap.”
Kawai: “If Lawson steals the fastest lap from Norris, it could help Red Bull and Verstappen by denying McLaren that extra point—even though Lawson’s outside the top 10 and won’t earn the point himself.”
69. Lawson set the fastest lap.
Leclerc was told to pit for new tires to try to reclaim it.
Kawai: “Lawson doing that himself is huge—even if Leclerc fails to beat Norris, it still blocks McLaren from getting that point.”
70. Pérez also got a call to pit for a fastest lap attempt.
71. Sainz wins his second race of the season and takes his fourth career victory.
P2 Norris, P3 Leclerc—who reclaimed fastest lap at the very end with a wall-skimming lap.
Pérez couldn’t match it.
