浜島氏の解説で、舗装が改装されて昨年よりもラップタイムが4秒も速くなっているとのこと。
ピアストリが初のPPからスタート。

１．ピアストリを窺うラッセルの隙を狙ってノリスが１コーナーでラッセルに並ぶ。ターン２でオーバーテイク。マクラーレンがワンツー。フェラーリ2台がフェルスタッペンをかわす。フェルスタッペンはめずらしくスタートでミスがあったか。ハミルトンと接触のあったルクレールのフロントウイング左側が破損している。ツノダがハジャーをかわす。
３．ルクレールの無線によると20～30％ポイントのロスがフロントウイング左翼端板の破損によって見込まれるが、ファーストスティントはこのまま走る様子。
４．アロンソがスローダウン。ブレーキポッドから炎が見えるとの情報も。2戦連続アロンソはリタイアとなる。川井氏解説；今年はツイてないですね。
７．ピアストリ、ノリス、ラッセル、ハミルトン、ルクレール、フェルスタッペン、アントネッリ、ツノダ、ハジャー、オコンのトップ10。
８．川井氏解説；ハジャーは前戦オーストラリアはレーススタートできなかったので、今回がデビューGPとなりますね。
１１．ガスリーがまずピットイン。
１２．ツノダがピット。ハードタイヤへ。 浜島氏解説；トラフィックのあるポジションを走行していたので、クリーンエアが得られるなら良い作戦です。
１３．ツノダがアントネッリをかわして13位。浜島氏の解説通り、ツノダはアンダーカット成功。
１４．ハミルトンがピット。フェルスタッペンもピット。
１５．ピアストリがピット。ラッセルもピット。 オコンがアントネッリをホームストレートのイン側オフコースを土煙を上げてオーバーテイクして14位。
１６．ラッセルがピット作戦アンダーカット成功。ノリスの前に復帰して3位。
１７．ルクレールはピットインしたもののフロントウイング交換はしていない模様。
１８．ノリスがホームストレートでラッセルをかわして3位奪還。
１９．ハミルトンがストロールをかわして5位。
２０．浜島氏解説；昨日スプリントより大分デグラデーションのスコアが良いので、全車タイヤがもつ予想をしていると思います。
２１．ピアストリ、ノリス、ラッセル、ルクレール、ハミルトン、フェルスタッペン、ストロール、ベアマン、ツノダ、オコンのトップ10。 フェラーリはスワップポジションをしてルクレールを前に出した。 フロントウイング壊れてるルクレールの方がペースが良いのか・・。
２２．ルクレールのパートナーであるアレクサンドラ・サン・ムルーを国際映像が捕らえる。カンクン出身でエコール・デュ・ルーヴルの美大生らしいが、左翼淡板無しでのグラウンドエフェクトはここで荷重が掛かっているのか。 ルクレール速い。現在コース上最速。 浜島氏解説；風洞では表せない事実がここで目の前で見えています。僕はこういうのが好きなんです。
２５．ルクレール無線：Mercedes is a dragster out of turn 12, unbelievable. The traction they have there is unbelievable.
２６．ハードタイヤの現在のピットウィンドウは32ー38周と表示される。 今日はタイヤが長持ちする日のようだ。
２７．ベアマンがピット。戦略を反応させる遅さに無線で大分荒ぶっていた。
３０．タイヤエイジが13周ほどで皆がベストを出している。今日は1ストップで最後まで行く日か？
３１．ピアストリ、ノリス、ラッセル、ルクレール、ハミルトン、フェルスタッペン、ストロール、ツノダ、オコン、アントネッリのトップ10。 川井氏解説；ルクレールのフロントウイングは設計した仕様で使われていないわけですが、マーシャルはオレンジボールフラッグなどは振らないようですね。
３４．浜島氏解説；ピレリのマリオでさえ1ストップは無理だと言っていましたが、今日はタイヤがもちそうです。
３６．ツノダがピット。前周にハジャーも入っており、レーシングブルズ・チームとして2ピットストップ戦略のよう。 浜島氏解説；当初立てた戦略をそのまま実行しているようで、周りに合わせた戦略が執れていないようにみえます。
３８．ハミルトンがピット。 川井氏解説；メルボルンでのイタリアンチームの再来かのように、状況に合わせた戦略が出来ていないのでしょうか？ 行く末を見守ってみましょう。
４０．川井氏解説；ツノダのピット前に後ろを走っていたオコンのタイムに比べて、タイヤ交換をしたツノダは約1秒ラップ速いだけです。ここでのタイヤ交換に意味があったのでしょうか？浜島さーん。 浜島氏解説；安全のためにハジャーだけタイヤを換えてツノダはステイアウトだったとしたらまだ、チームとしての作戦の意味がわかるんですけどね。
４１．ピアストリ、ノリス、ラッセル、ルクレール、フェルスタッペン、ハミルトン、オコン、アントネッリ、アルボン、ベアマンのトップ10。
４４．ツノダがドゥーハンをかわして14位。
４７．ツノダのフロントウイング右半分が壊れている。ピットインでウイング交換。 サインツの真後ろに付いた直後、タービュランスの中でウイングが破損したように見えるリプレイ映像。
４９．バックストレート、14位ドゥーハンは後続のハジャーに対して鋭いブロッキング。ミラーを見てラインクロスに直ちに反応した。
５０．ノリスのブレーキペダルに違和感がある様子。ペダリングが徐々に長くなっている(？)
５１．ドゥーハンに10秒ペナルティ。ハジャーをブロックした際にコース外へ追い出したことを違反ととられた。
５２．ピアストリ、ノリス、ラッセル、ルクレール、フェルスタッペン、ハミルトン、オコン、アントネッリ、アルボン、ベアマンのトップ10。
５３．フェルスタッペンがホームストレートから仕掛けてターン1、2と揺さぶり、ターン3でルクレールをかわして4位。
５５．ノリスへチーム無線：The break situation has been getting critical. ノリス返答：I think the pedal is going flat. 川井氏解説；フラットと言えど、本当に床に着くほど踏んでいるわけではないと思いますが、そういった感覚なのでしょう。それでも後ろのラッセルとは5秒差がありますのであと1周車を持ち帰るだけです。
５６．ピアストリが初ポールトゥウィン。ノリスは2位を堅守。ラッセルが1.3秒まで迫っていた。 フェラーリ2台ともにレース後の車検で、タイヤ過剰摩耗に伴うスキッド幅・重量違反があり失格となった。

1. As Russell looked for an opening on Piastri, Norris seized the moment and went side-by-side with Russell into Turn 1, completing the overtake at Turn 2. A McLaren 1–2 was formed.
Both Ferraris overtook Verstappen—who, uncharacteristically, may have made a mistake at the start.
Leclerc’s front wing was damaged on the left side after contact with Hamilton.
Tsunoda overtook Hadjar.
3. Leclerc reported via radio that the loss in performance due to the damaged left-endplate was estimated at 20–30%, but he planned to complete the first stint without replacing the wing.
4. Alonso slowed down—reports mentioned flames visible from the brake pod. That marked a second consecutive retirement for Alonso.
Kawai’s commentary: “He really has no luck this year.”
7. Top 10: Piastri, Norris, Russell, Hamilton, Leclerc, Verstappen, Antonelli, Tsunoda, Hadjar, Ocon.
8. Kawai: “Hadjar couldn’t start the race in Australia, so this is effectively his Grand Prix debut.”
11. Gasly was the first to pit.
12. Tsunoda pitted for hard tires.
Hamashima: “He was running in traffic, so if he gets clean air now, this could work well.”
13. Tsunoda overtook Antonelli for P13, confirming Hamashima’s prediction—an undercut success.
14. Hamilton and Verstappen both pitted.
15. Piastri and Russell pitted.
Ocon overtook Antonelli on the inside of the main straight, kicking up dust off-track to take P14.
16. Russell successfully pulled off the undercut and rejoined ahead of Norris in P3.
17. Leclerc pitted but did not appear to replace the damaged front wing.
18. Norris overtook Russell down the main straight and retook P3.
19. Hamilton passed Stroll for P5.
20. Hamashima: “Compared to yesterday’s sprint, degradation levels are much better. I expect most cars will be able to run long.”
21. Top 10: Piastri, Norris, Russell, Leclerc, Hamilton, Verstappen, Stroll, Bearman, Tsunoda, Ocon.
Ferrari performed a position swap, letting Leclerc move ahead. Despite the wing damage, Leclerc seemed to have better pace.
22. International broadcast showed Leclerc’s partner, Alexandra Saint Mleux. She’s reportedly from Cancún and an art student at École du Louvre.
Despite running without the left wing endplate, Leclerc was flying—the fastest car on track.
Hamashima: “This is something the wind tunnel can’t simulate. I love seeing this kind of real-world performance.”
25. Leclerc radio: “Mercedes is a dragster out of Turn 12, unbelievable. The traction they have there is unbelievable.”
26. Current pit window for hard tires was shown as laps 32–38.
Looks like today’s race will see strong tire life.
27. Bearman pitted—he was clearly frustrated on the radio about the team reacting too slowly with strategy.
30. With tire age around 13 laps, most drivers were setting personal bests.
It looked like a one-stop strategy might be possible after all.
31. Top 10: Piastri, Norris, Russell, Leclerc, Hamilton, Verstappen, Stroll, Tsunoda, Ocon, Antonelli.
Kawai: “Leclerc’s wing isn’t operating as designed, but still no orange-and-black flag from marshals.”
34. Hamashima: “Even Pirelli’s Mario said one-stop was impossible—but the tires are really holding up today.”
36. Tsunoda pitted. Hadjar had pitted the lap before, suggesting a two-stop strategy for Racing Bulls.
Hamashima: “It seems they’re sticking to their original strategy and not adjusting to the race conditions.”
38. Hamilton pitted.
Kawai: “Is this a return to Melbourne-style stubbornness from the Italian team—unable to adapt to evolving conditions? Let’s see how it plays out.”
40. Kawai: “Tsunoda is just one second faster than Ocon per lap after pitting. Was that stop even worth it?”
Hamashima: “If they’d only changed Hadjar’s tires and let Tsunoda stay out for safety reasons, it would’ve made more sense.”
41. Top 10: Piastri, Norris, Russell, Leclerc, Verstappen, Hamilton, Ocon, Antonelli, Albon, Bearman.
44. Tsunoda overtook Doohan for P14.
47. Tsunoda’s front wing was broken on the right side. He pitted for a replacement.
Replay showed it likely broke due to turbulence while following Sainz closely.
49. Down the back straight, Doohan in P14 made an aggressive block against Hadjar.
He reacted instantly by changing lines while watching his mirrors.
50. Norris reported issues with the brake pedal—it seemed to be traveling farther than usual.
51. Doohan was given a 10-second penalty for forcing Hadjar off the track while defending.
52. Top 10: Piastri, Norris, Russell, Leclerc, Verstappen, Hamilton, Ocon, Antonelli, Albon, Bearman.
53. Verstappen attacked Leclerc from the main straight through Turns 1 and 2, then completed the pass at Turn 3 to take P4.
55. Team radio to Norris: “The brake situation is getting critical.”
Norris replied: “I think the pedal is going flat.”
Kawai: “I don’t think the pedal is literally hitting the floor, but it must feel that way to him. Still, he has a 5-second gap to Russell—just one more lap to bring it home.”
56. Piastri secured his first pole-to-win victory.
Norris held on to P2, though Russell closed to within 1.3 seconds.
Post-race, both Ferraris were disqualified due to excessive tire wear resulting in a skid block and weight violation.
