レース結果
雨の予選を見事にコントロールしたツノダが自身ベストの3番手スタート。
逆に予選でクラッシュした7番手スタートの順位を持っていたアルボンはマシン修理が決勝レースに間に合わず、スタート前にリタイア。
フォーメーションラップでストロールがスピンしてストップ。 ストロール無線：I’m beached. ここでリタイア。 波乱のレースは既に始まっている。
Start abortとなり、2周目のフォーメーションラップへ・・ かと思いきや、Start delayが正しく、現地時間12:47(10分後ほど)の再スタート。 イエローシグナルの点滅でノリス以下、フェルスタッペンなど後続も動くべきではなく、インシデントに。
スタート大混乱。 森脇氏解説；すごく下のクラス、フレッシュマンレースのスタートみたいですね。
定刻、雨は再び降り始め、路面には雨水も溜まり始めた中で2回目のフォーメーションラップ。
レース要点

１．ラッセルが1コーナーを制する。オコン、ローソンが並びかけたが、ツノダは3番手確保。誰も通っていないアウトコースから、フェルスタッペンは11番手までジャンプアップ。セクター2でペレスがスピン。レースには復帰できた。
２．フェルスタッペンがハミルトンをかわして10位。 ラッセル、ノリス、ツノダ、オコン、ルクレール、ローソン、ピアストリ、アロンソ、ガスリー、フェルスタッペンのトップ10。
３．川井氏解説；今のラップタイムだとまだインターミディエイトタイヤで問題なさそうです。
５．フェルスタッペンがガスリーをかわして9位。
６．フェルスタッペンがアロンソをかわして8位。
８．川井氏解説；次の雨雲がまた来ているのでピットのタイミングが難しそうです。 コラピントに追突しスピンした件で、ベアマンに10秒ペナルティ。スピンとペナルティの二重でタイムを失い、ご立腹の模様。
１０．フェルスタッペンがピアストリをかわして7位。 ターン3のイン側グリップを信じて鋭い切り込みを連発。
１１．フェルスタッペンがローソンをかわして6位。 森脇氏解説；こんな所でオーバーテイク？！ ハミルトンがコースオフ、したもののすぐに復帰。バウンスの酷さを無線で訴えていたところ。
１４．川井氏解説；バックストレート、ターン4雨が強いですね。 ペレスがイン側からラインを取ろうとするものの、ベアマンが恐らくミラーを見ておらず幅寄せ。
１６．ガスリーがアロンソをかわして9位。 ラッセル、ノリス、ツノダ、オコン、ルクレール、フェルスタッペン、ローソン、ピアストリ、ガスリー、アロンソのトップ10。
１８．3位ツノダから6位フェルスタッペンまでがそれぞれ1秒以内のバトル。
１９．1位ラッセルとノリスのタイム差も0.5秒。 ハミルトンのステアリングが覚束ず、サインツとベアマンに先を行かれる。前戦ポールトゥウィンのサインツは現在13位。
２１．レース総周回が71周から69周に短縮された。
２２．S字でアウトから並ぶフェルスタッペンのインを押さえるルクレール。 森脇氏解説；見応えがありますね。
２３．サインツがコースオフしたが復帰。 川井氏解説；しかしメカニックは決勝までにサインツの車をよく直しましたね。
２４．3位ツノダにオコンが迫るが、ツノダは落ち着いている。 川井氏解説；ルクレールとフェルスタッペンはペースが違うような車ですが、その前を走行するオコンもツノダも賞賛されるべき走りです。
２５．ルクレールが1番でピットイン。
２６．ローソンがコースオフして9位まで順位を落とす。
２７．セクター1でヒュルケンベルグがスピン。コース上にマシンを止めてしまう。 セクター1は凄い雨。ウォータースクリーンでホームストレートなどは真っ白。バーチャルセーフティカー導入。 ハミルトン、ベアマン、サインツ、続々とピットイン。
２８．ヒュルケンベルグは自力で復帰。バーチャルセーフティカー終了。
２９．ノリス、ラッセル、ツノダがピット。 オコンとフェルスタッペンがステイアウト。VCARB2台とペレスがフルウェットタイヤ。 ピアストリに接触があったため10秒ペナルティ。
３０．ノリスがラッセルをかわして4位。 川井氏解説；この速さの違いはなんでしょう？ほぼ同じタイミングでピットに入っていましたが。 ここでセーフティカー導入。視界不良すぎるためかと思われる。
３１．オコンは依然ステイアウト。 川井氏解説；えっっ？！ 森脇氏解説；ウェットタイヤが長持ちしないので、数分で雨が弱くなる予報ですと、ツノダはその点が心配ですね。
３２．コラピントがターン12、ハイスピードコーナーでクラッシュ。 川井氏解説；予選でもクラッシュして予算的にツラいです。クラッシュから赤旗まで16秒。予選の約半分の時間での判断は優秀です。 赤旗でレース中断。コラピントがコックピットから出るが、他車通過中はマシンから降りない方が安全に見える。
３３．ステイアウトしていたオコン、フェルスタッペン、ガスリーなどが大きなアドバンテージ。 オコン、フェルスタッペン、ガスリー、ノリス、ラッセル、ツノダ、ルクレール、ピアストリ、アロンソ、ローソンのトップ10。 現地時刻14：02。約25分の中断後、ローリングスタートでレース再開。全車がインターミディエートタイヤを装着。 サインツ無線：These are not new tyres. Which inter is this? Hello?? 川井氏解説；これ新品のインターじゃないだろ、どっから持ってきたインターだ？ ・・とのことです。(レースコントロール表示上では新品となっている。)チームが応答しないのがいいですね。この混乱の中、忙しいのです。 ベアマンとジョウがコースオフした模様。
３４．ノリスがコースオフ。強引に戻ったが、ラッセルに前に行かれる。
３５．ハミルトンがアロンソをかわして9位。
３６．ベアマンがオーバースピードでターン7をスピン。ウォールに軽く接触。コース復帰。
４０．サインツがターン8でスピン、ウォールにクラッシュ。 セーフティカー導入。 川井氏解説；これはホワイトラインに乗った際のハイドロに見えます。 森脇氏解説；ただちょっと(テクニックで避けてほしいため)いただけないですね。
４１．フェルスタッペンやノリスにも白線の水溜り(滑り)に気をつけろとの無線指示。 川井氏解説；現在の白線はノースリップペイントと言われてはいますけど、ライン上に水は溜まってしまうのでしょう。
４３．リスタートでノリスがコースオフ。 フェルスタッペンがローリングスタート巧者で、ターン1でオコンをかわしてトップ。 ローソンがハミルトンとアロンソをかわして9位。 フェルスタッペン、オコン、ガスリー、ルクレール、ラッセル、ピアストリ、ノリス、ツノダ、ローソン、ペレスのトップ10。 森脇氏解説；フェルスタッペンのリプレイですが、ターン1のインに飛び込む速度が全っっ然オコンと違いますね。
４６．ラッセルがルクレールをかわして4位。 ルクレールはターン4でオーバースピードのためコース外に膨らんでいた。
５０．フェルスタッペンがファステスト連発。 川井氏解説；こんなに飛ばさなくても・・。森脇さんだったらセーブさせますよね？
５１．またフェルスタッペンがファステスト。2位オコンに6秒差。
５４．フェルスタッペン、オコン、ガスリー、ラッセル、ルクレール、ノリス、ピアストリ、ツノダ、ローソン、ペレスのトップ10。
５５．前戦に続き、ペレスのオーバーテイクをホイールトゥホイールでローソンがブロック。 その間にハミルトンがペレスをかわして10位。
５８．川井氏解説；ハミルトンが赤旗後に元気ですね。何を変えたんでしょうね？ ハミルトンがペレスをかわして10位。
６４．フェルスタッペン、オコン、ガスリー、ラッセル、ルクレール、ノリス、ピアストリ、ツノダ、ローソン、ハミルトンのトップ10。
６５．ウエットパッチを各車が拾っている。各車1度のピットストップのみのため、タイヤが摩耗していると思われる。
６７．アロンソ無線：I will finish the race (レースは完走する) for the mechanics. They did a very good job today! But my buck is hurting, man. This bouncing is not normal.
６８．フェルスタッペンはファステストを更新し続けている。2位オコンと18秒差。
６９．フェルスタッペンが17番手スタートから優勝。17番手以下からスタートして優勝したのは、F1が1100戦以上の歴史の中でたったの5レース。6月のスペイン以来、5か月ぶりのトップチェッカー。 アルピーヌがダブル表彰台。ロータス以来11年ぶり。ピットは大歓喜。

1. Russell led into Turn 1. Ocon and Lawson drew alongside, but Tsunoda held on to P3. From the outside line—untouched by anyone—Verstappen rocketed up to P11. In Sector 2, Pérez spun but managed to rejoin.
2. Verstappen passed Hamilton for P10.
Top 10: Russell, Norris, Tsunoda, Ocon, Leclerc, Lawson, Piastri, Alonso, Gasly, Verstappen.
3. Kawai: “At current lap times, intermediates still seem to be working fine.”
5. Verstappen overtook Gasly for P9.
6. Verstappen passed Alonso for P8.
8. Kawai: “More rain clouds incoming—this’ll make pit stop timing tricky.”
Bearman received a 10-second penalty for contact with Colapinto that caused a spin. Already having lost time, he sounded clearly frustrated on the radio.
10. Verstappen overtook Piastri for P7. He confidently cut into Turn 3, trusting the inside grip lap after lap.
11. Verstappen passed Lawson for P6.
Moriwaki: “An overtake there?! Incredible.”
Meanwhile, Hamilton briefly went off but recovered. He had been complaining about severe bouncing.
14. Kawai: “Heavy rain at the back straight and Turn 4.”
Pérez tried to claim the inside line, but Bearman, likely unaware, squeezed him.
16. Gasly passed Alonso for P9.
Top 10: Russell, Norris, Tsunoda, Ocon, Leclerc, Verstappen, Lawson, Piastri, Gasly, Alonso.
18. Close battle from P3 Tsunoda to P6 Verstappen—all within a second of each other.
19. Russell and Norris were also locked in a duel—just 0.5s apart.
Hamilton was struggling with his steering and was passed by Sainz and Bearman.
Sainz, who had taken pole and victory in the previous race, was now in P13.
21. The race was shortened from 71 to 69 laps.
22. Verstappen attacked Leclerc on the outside through the esses.
Moriwaki: “That was spectacular.”
23. Sainz went off but returned.
Kawai: “Credit to the mechanics—his car looked perfectly repaired by race day.”
24. Ocon was closing in on P3 Tsunoda, who remained composed.
Kawai: “Leclerc and Verstappen’s cars are on a different level, but Ocon and Tsunoda deserve praise for holding their ground.”
25. Leclerc pitted from the lead group.
26. Lawson went off track and dropped to P9.
27. Hülkenberg spun in Sector 1 and stopped on track.
Heavy rain hit Sector 1—visibility plummeted with water spray even on the main straight.
Virtual Safety Car (VSC) was deployed.
Hamilton, Bearman, and Sainz all pitted.
28. Hülkenberg managed to rejoin on his own. VSC ended.
29. Norris, Russell, and Tsunoda pitted.
Ocon and Verstappen stayed out.
The two VCARB drivers and Pérez switched to full wets.
Piastri was handed a 10-second penalty for contact.
30. Norris overtook Russell for P4.
Kawai: “Why such a big pace difference? They pitted at nearly the same time.”
Safety Car was deployed—likely due to poor visibility.
31. Ocon remained out.
Kawai: “Wait, what?!”
Moriwaki: “Forecast says rain will ease in a few minutes—wet tires won’t last. That’s a concern for Tsunoda.”
32. Colapinto crashed at high speed in Turn 12.
Kawai: “He crashed in qualifying too—must be tough on the budget.
From impact to red flag took 16 seconds—half the time compared to qualifying. Excellent response.”
Colapinto exited the cockpit but remained in the car until it was safe.
Red flag—race suspended.
33. Ocon, Verstappen, and Gasly—who had stayed out—gained a massive advantage.
Top 10 after reshuffle: Ocon, Verstappen, Gasly, Norris, Russell, Tsunoda, Leclerc, Piastri, Alonso, Lawson.
Local time: 14:02.
After ~25 minutes, the race resumed behind a rolling start.
All cars on intermediate tyres.
Sainz radio: “These are not new tyres. Which inter is this? Hello??”
Kawai: “He’s saying, ‘These aren’t new inters. Where did these come from?’
On the race control screen it shows as new, but maybe not. The team staying silent is probably best—it’s chaos down there.”
Bearman and Zhou also went off track.
34. Norris went off but rejoined. Russell took the place.
35. Hamilton passed Alonso for P9.
36. Bearman spun into Turn 7 with excessive speed, lightly tapping the wall. He rejoined.
40. Sainz spun at Turn 8 and crashed into the wall.
Safety Car deployed.
Kawai: “Looks like he hydroplaned on the white line.”
Moriwaki: “Still, that kind of mistake shouldn’t happen at this level.”
41. Teams warned Verstappen and Norris about the wet patches on the white lines.
Kawai: “Even though it’s ‘non-slip paint,’ water still collects on the line.”
43. At the restart, Norris ran wide.
Verstappen, a master of rolling starts, overtook Ocon into Turn 1 for the lead.
Lawson passed both Hamilton and Alonso for P9.
Top 10: Verstappen, Ocon, Gasly, Leclerc, Russell, Piastri, Norris, Tsunoda, Lawson, Pérez.
Moriwaki: “Verstappen’s Turn 1 entry speed was in a completely different league to Ocon’s.”
46. Russell overtook Leclerc for P4 after the Ferrari ran wide at Turn 4.
50. Verstappen kept setting fastest laps.
Kawai: “He doesn’t need to push this hard… If it were up to Moriwaki, he’d tell him to back off, right?”
51. Another fastest lap by Verstappen—now 6 seconds ahead of P2 Ocon.
54. Top 10: Verstappen, Ocon, Gasly, Russell, Leclerc, Norris, Piastri, Tsunoda, Lawson, Pérez.
55. Just like last race, Lawson held off Pérez in a wheel-to-wheel duel.
Meanwhile, Hamilton slipped past Pérez for P10.
58. Kawai: “Hamilton looks energized after the red flag. What did they change on his setup?”
Hamilton again passed Pérez for P10.
64. Top 10: Verstappen, Ocon, Gasly, Russell, Leclerc, Norris, Piastri, Tsunoda, Lawson, Hamilton.
65. Drivers were hitting wet patches. All were on just one pit stop, so tire degradation was evident.
67. Alonso radio:
“I will finish the race for the mechanics. They did a very good job today! But my back is hurting, man. This bouncing is not normal.”
68. Verstappen continued to clock fastest laps, pulling 18 seconds clear of Ocon.
69. Victory for Verstappen from P17 on the grid.
Only the 6th time in over 1,100 races that a driver has won from P17 or lower.
His first win since Spain in June—five months ago.
Double podium for Alpine—their first since the Lotus era 11 years ago.
